The Evolet Pony is an electric scooter manufactured by Evolet India, an electric vehicle manufacturer, part of Risala Electric Motors Private Limited. The Evolet Pony is the smallest, entry-level e-scooter in the company’s portfolio. The Pony is targeted at riders looking for a lightweight and easy to manage electric scooter, and is best considered for short runs around the neighbourhood, or for small chores. The Pony features a lithium-ion battery that powers a waterproof BLDC motor that is capable of producing 250 watts of power.

The Evolet Pony has a claimed range of 60 km and a top speed of 25 kmph, and is offered in two variants, one with a lead acid battery, which is more affordable, and the other one with a lithium ion battery. The Evolet Pony EZ comes with a 48V/24 Ah VRLA (Lead Acid) battery, while the Pony Classic comes with a 48V/24 Ah lithium ion battery. The Evolet Pony EZ is priced at Rs. 39,499 while the Pony Classic is priced at Rs. 49,499 (ex-showroom). The small electric scooter does not require a driving licence to ride.

Kerb weight of the Pony EZ is 88 kg, and it takes between 8-9 hours to charge the lead acid battery. The battery of the EZ comes with a 1 year warranty. The Evolet Pony has a kerb weight of 82 kg, and it takes around 5-6 hours for the battery to be fully charged. The Pony Classic comes with a 3 year warranty on the lithium ion battery.
