About Indian Chief Dark Horse

The Chief Dark Horse based on the Chief platform. This one has been blacked out to enhance the premiumness of the bike and comes adorned with chrome which gives it its unique look. The tank design of the Dark Horse is quite unique and the distinctive monochrome Warbonnet graphics is seen only on the Indian Chief Dark Horse. Though it looks like a bike from the yesteryears, it comes with a whole bunch of features from today's day and age. So, stuff like keyless ignition, anti-lock braking system and cruise control all make their way into the bike. The bike comes powered by the 1811cc 'Thunder-Stroke' engine and comes to India via the CBU route.

Final Verdict on Chief Dark Horse

The Cleveland Ace Deluxe has its positives, and there are some areas of improvement, but it's got a difficult task cut out for it, even though retro motorcycles seem to be the flavor of the market right now. The Ace Deluxe is priced at an introductory ₹ 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom and that too, considering you still miss out on ABS and fuel injection. A more competitive pricing is expected once when more locally made components go into the bike.
