7.5/10The Mahindra Bolero Big Pik-Up sports a design which is clearly identical in front to the regular and highly popular Mahindra Bolero SUV. The front fascia looks classic and appealing and the front grille is akin to the Bolero SUV as well. There are brand new multi-reflector headlights in place in tandem with a stylishly designed dashboard and brand new dual-tone interiors alongside. There are new fabric seats for the SUV too. Design-wise, the UV comes with ample road presence.
The Mahindra Bolero Big Pik-Up drives powerfully courtesy of its highly capable engine and can take rough roads and potholes with ease. It is not a pleasure to drive per se but you do get ample horsepower and punch. Refinement is slightly on the lower side though.
The Mahindra Bolero Big Pik-Up now comes with some comfort features for better experiences of drivers and co-passengers. There is a wider seat for the co-driver with a headrest and recliner. There is a reclining and sliding driver’s seat along with a smaller turning radius of 6.5 meters. The cabin is now larger than before while the power steering is more comfortable to handle. The gear shifting is smooth, akin to a regular SUV and the mobile charging point enhances the feeling of comfort and convenience greatly as well.
The interiors of the Mahindra Bolero Big Pik-Up are revamped and look better than before. They now offer a soothing vibe with some comfort features, the charging point and the reclining seats. Overall, the interiors are rather simplistic and old-school but they are not as drab as you would originally perceive.
The UV does come with some features including ELR seatbelts, mobile charging point, mobile holder, left side ORVM and floor mats among others. Technology-wise, this is a utilitarian vehicle that is a bit dated.
