2024 Swift brings a fresh design that enhances its sporty character while retaining its iconic shape. The car now sports a wraparound design theme, creating a visual separation between the upper and lower parts of the body.

The car has grown slightly in length, now measuring 3860 mm, while its height has been lowered to 1520 mm. The dual-tone treatment available on higher trims, including the Sizzling Red and Luster Blue, adds to the car’s youthful and dynamic appeal.

The Swift now comes equipped with a new 1.2-liter Z-Series petrol engine, which replaces the older K-Series motor. Although the new engine has one less cylinder and produces slightly less power, it focuses on providing better fuel efficiency.

Despite the drop in power output, the Swift maintains its fun-to-drive character, particularly in the low and mid-range, where the engine feels peppy. The manual transmission is smooth, and gear shifts are quick and precise, making it ideal for city driving. The AMT version performs well in urban traffic but lacks the engaging feel of the manual.
