One of the most well-known and highly regarded names in the world of luxury automobile manufacturing is Mercedes-Benz. And with good reason: their automobiles are among the finest that can be found on the market. But what exactly does that have to do with technological advancements? In fact, quite a lot. The Mercedes Benz E-Class is a glittering example of what we’re essentially trying to say, i.e. it does take the Mickey out of the competition with sheer finesse alone. And we’re loving it!
The outside of the vehicle has been given a contemporary and streamlined appearance by its designers. A sizable air intake can be seen on the front fascia, and it connects directly to the unique grille. On the front of the hood, there is also an illuminated M-B logo. The car was designed to have a side profile that was both attractive and aerodynamically sound. The sides do not have any apparent bumpers or spoilers, which contributes to the exceptionally high level of aerodynamics that the car possesses.
The new E-Class has a more forward-thinking appearance thanks to its lengthened hood with power domes, redesigned headlamps, and updated rim designs. There is of course, the imposing rear end featuring a rear lamp that is split into two halves and restyled wheels as an option. The E class already has the appealing look of an avant-garde exterior. The dynamic quality and refined style of the car are both brought out by its designers. The high-performance LED headlights not only provide a recognizable and intimidating appearance, but also an increased level of safety when driving at night. These headlights utilize LED technology, which allows them to illuminate the road more effectively than traditional headlights while simultaneously consuming less energy. LED technology's adaptive rear lights modify the amount of light they emit in response to the environment around them. The panoramic sliding sunroof, in either it’s open or closed configuration, bestows a fantastic experience as well as a sense of unrestricted freedom.

Mercedes-Benz launched the 2021 E-Class in India and prices start at Rs. 63.6 lakh. The new E-Class debuts with comprehensive changes on exterior styling and design, significant interior updates along with the integration of latest new-generation NTG 6 telematics and of course the MBUX system, which makes it a connected car. Prices of the E-Class top out at Rs. 80.9 lakh (ex-showroom India) The E-Class boasts of the most spacious rear cabin in the segment owing to its long wheelbase of 3079 mm. At 5075mm it's long too and Mercedes-Benz has stuck to bringing the long wheelbase version to the country because it has received a lot of praise and of course, in the E-Class, it is all about being chauffeur driven.
The 2021 E-Class does not get the typical twin headlight and LED DRL treatment. In fact, the single LED DRL now looks great and the bulges on the bonnet give it an aggressive look. The new LED headlamps too add to the sleek look. The rear has been newly designed and the new split tail light design gives it a fresh appeal. The quarter glass at the rear is inspired by the Mercedes-Maybach.
The inside comes with plush Artico leather dashboard and open pore wood trims at the front and rear. But it's the rear seat that gets your attention as they recline to up to 37 degrees. You also get convenience features like a Burmester surround Sound system, panoramic sunroof, wireless charger among others. The cabin experience has been enhanced with the integration of new Mercedes-Benz User Experience infotainment system. MBUX enriches user experience by incorporating a powerful computer, brilliant screens and graphics, a customizable display, learning-capable software, and "Hey Mercedes" voice assistance with natural language recognition. You get the digital cockpit with dual 12.3-inch display screens and that's something we've seen on other cars from the company already.
But let's get to the heart of the matter. The engines. Mercedes-Benz will offer the E-Class in 3 engine options - a 2-litre petrol, a 2-litre diesel and a 3-litre diesel in an AMG line. While the 2-litre petrol churns out 194 bhp, the 2-litre diesel pushes out 192 bhp. The more powerful 3-litre diesel is good enough for 282 bhp.
The paint colours available for the E-Class are Polar White, Obsidian Black, High-Tech Silver and Mojave Silver. Additionally, two more colours would be available for a limited time - Selenite Grey and Designo Hyacinth Red.
