Ever since it made its debut in 2007, the Nissan GT-R has always been one of the most revered super cars across the world. The Japanese manufacturer recently debuted the 2017 GT-R Nismo at the hallowed racetrack of Nurburgring. It gets the most comprehensive updates since it was first showcased.
The front end gets a re-styled bumper and a chrome V-motion grille which has been enlarged to collect more air to cool the high performance engine. The bonnet too has been redesigned, thereby avoiding deformations at extreme speeds and being slick aerodynamically. Also, the bumpers on the GT-R Nismo are crafted from layers of carbon-fibre to achieve the precise amount of stiffness. Overall, the GT-R Nismo's new shape generates the maximum amount of downforce among all other Nissan production cars which makes it stable at high speeds.
The 2017 Nissan GT-R Nismo gets two turbochargers derived from GT3 racing
The GT-R Nismo gets a 3.8-litre twin-turbo engine that puts down a monstrous 592bhp on the tarmac at its peak. The engine is mated a six-speed dual clutch automatic transmission and features two turbochargers which are used in GT3 racing competitions. Each engine is assembled by hand in Yokohama, Japan, by master craftsmen who are called Takumis.

The body structure too, has been stiffened and reinforced along with Nismo tweaking the suspension in its own special way. The springs, shock absorbers and the stabilizer bars have been tuned to make the GT-R Nismo the best handling car that it can possibly be. For this, Nissan has fitted the GT-R Nismo with a special Bilstein DampTronic driver adjustable suspension system that provides optimum damping forces by collecting data from the various vehicle information systems in the car.

The interiors too get an update and Nissan says that the cabin feels more upscale and premium than the previous model. The dashboard has been redesigned and along with the steering wheel and the centre arm-rest, is covered in Alcantara leather. The dashboard comes fitted with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The number of buttons too has gone down from 27 to 11, making the dashboard feel uncluttered. The seats of course, are Recaro carbon bucket seats, draped in Alcantara. The 2017 GT-R Nismo will be available in 5 different colours
