The New-Generation Honda Amaze has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 5.59 lakh and go up to Rs. 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The second generation Honda Amaze was first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo. The design and styling on the all-new Amaze is absolutely new and it takes inspiration from Honda Accord. The prices for the new-gen Amaze are introductory and will be valid for the first 20,000 customers only. After that, Honda is expected to increase the prices of the car. Bookings for the new-gen Amaze have already begun and the company started manufacturing the car in India from the beginning of May 2018. The 'E' is the base model for the new-gen Honda Amaze. Unsurprisingly, Honda has offered basic safety features such as dual airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX points for child seats. Additionally, the subcompact sedan also gets rear parking sensors along with impact sensing door unlock feature. One also gets power windows all around along with a multi-information display which can show average fuel consumption and cruising range.

In addition to the all the features available in the 'E' trim, the 'S' trim also features an integrated 2-DIN audio system with an LCD screen and Aux, Bluetooth and USB Connectivity. Plus, there are steering mounted controls for audio and telephony. Honda also offers LED indicators on the wing mirrors, central locking with keyless entry, rear armrest, height adjustable driver seat and shark fin antenna. There will be an interior decoration package on offer as well.

The Amaze V trim also gets one touch start stop button along with auto climate control along with a rear defogger. The instrument console becomes bigger and it also shows instantaneous fuel consumption and outside temperature. Plus, the petrol CVT option gets paddle-shifts as well, not the diesel.
And finally, we come to the VX trim, which is the top-spec variant of the new-generation Amaze. It gets a new 17.1 cm capacitive touchscreen along with smartphone integration in the form of Apple CarPlay, Android Auto. Honda also offers in-built satellite navigation. Then, you have a reverse-parking camera with guidelines as well. The top-spec trim also gets steering mounted voice control along with voice command and cruise control.
