The Renault Duster is currently one of most popular compact SUVs in the Indian market and one of Renault's top-sellers as well. In several global markets, the Duster is retailed under Renault's sub-brand Dacia and recently the company revealed the 2018 Dacia Duster online. Slated to make its public debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, the new Dacia Duster comes with a host of design and styling updates along with a bunch of new features. As the Duster sold in India is based on the globally retailed Dacia Duster it's likely that the next-generation model coming to India will share a lot of similarities with the former. Renault Duster Old vs New - Front
The entire front of the Duster has gone through a massive makeover and the most prominent changes include the new grille with chrome geometrical patterns instead of the large chrome slat and a new hood that now comes with bold lines adding more muscle to the Duster. The headlamp looks pretty much that same but a closer look revealed the cluster design has been redesigned. The front bumper now gets more plastic cladding adding to the SUV DNA and the bulbar-like bumper ornament has also been restyled. Also, the foglamp housing seems to have been redesigned. Of course, when the car comes to India the Dacia logo will be replaced with Renault's logo.
From the side, you'll see that the basic silhouette of the 2018 Dacia Duster remains largely similar to the outgoing models but there are lots of new styling decals and other updates. For instance, there is this new design element added to the back of the front wheel arch with the AWD and the brand badging on it. The new Duster also comes with a new sportier set of alloy wheels now instead of the glossy black ones of the outgoing model along with a pair of new dual tone silver and black outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs) and new roof rails.
The rear of the new Dacia Duster has also gone through some considerable changes as well. There are new LED taillamps that come in this squarish cross pattern, a new rear windshield design, and redesigned tailgate. There is a new rear bumper as well with beefier plastic cladding and a chrome-tipped exhaust and a silver bulbar-like design element.

The cabin images haven't been released yet but recently the sketches of the cabin were leaked online. The new cabin includes a more driver oriented dashboard with a large touchscreen infotainment system with three control dials. The cabin also comes with a dual-tone colour scheme, while body coloured parts and aluminium finished inserts have been used to keep up with the young look of the SUV. The other interesting bit is a circular rotor dial in front of the gearshift knob. It is likely that the dial is to slot the 2018 Renault Duster in All-Wheel Drive mode. The sketches also give a glimpse of the seats that are finished in black and are likely to offer better support over the outgoing model.
