The 2019 Renault Duster facelift has finally gone on sale in India priced at Rs. 7.99 lakh to Rs. 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This is the second major facelift for the Duster SUV in India, and it's expected to keep the Duster brand relevant until Renault is ready with the third-generation model, which will arrive in 2023. The 2019 Duster continues to be offered in both petrol and diesel options and comes in four primary variants - RxE, RxS, RxS(O), and the top-of-the-line RxZ.

Offered with both, the 1.5-litre petrol and the 84 bhp 1.5-litre diesel engines, the base model RxE comes with few new exterior features like - dual tone body colour front bumper, projector headlamps, and matte black tailgate embellisher. Other exterior features that have been retained include - LED tail lamps, full wheel cover, and black treatment for the roof rails, door side sills and outside door handles and mirrors.

The cabin, on the other hand, comes with new midnight black and stone grey interior, a new 3-spoke steering wheel, black fabric seats, and black finish for the inner door handles. The standard creature comforts include - manual Air-Con system, remote keyless entry with centre locking, tilt adjustable power steering, power windows with illuminated switches, rear parcel tray, passenger vanity mirror, and reading lamp. As for the safety bits, the Duster facelift comes with ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, Rapid deceleration warning, Engine Immobiliser, Driver and passenger seat belt reminder, Reverse parking sensors, and speed and impact sensing door lock.
The slightly higher Renault Duster RxS trim also offers the option of the more powerful 108 bhp 1.5-litre diesel engine, in addition to the aforementioned trims. Adding on to the features offered with the RxE variant, the RxS trim gets features like - new Tri-winged full chrome grille, LED daytime running lamps, body coloured door handles and rear view mirror, and turn indicators on ORVMs.
2019 Renault Duster Facelift gets an updated cabin with a host of new and revised features
The cabin, on the other hand, Ice blue graphic instrument cluster with multi-information display, along with a 7-inch touchscreen display with MediaNAV Evolution with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, voice recognition, Bluetooth, USB and AUX-IN. The car also gets 4 speakers, steering mounted audio and phone controls, rear seat armrest with cup holders, gearshift indicator, eco mode, new cooled storage, and electrically adjustable ORVMs. The RxS trim also gets the rear defogger and Deco Brown Fabric seat covers.
The RxS(O) variant is the top-end petrol CVT trim and also the only model to get the all-wheel drive (AWD). As for the exterior bits, the RxS(O) trim gets 16-inch Everest diamond cut alloy wheels. The AWD model gets Gearshift Indicator, while safety features like Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Hill-Start Assist is available on the 2WD as well. These features are in addition to the offerings of the RxS trim.

The top-end Renault Duster RxZ trim is only offered with the 108 bhp diesel model with optional automated manual transmission (AMT). Adding on to the features of the RxS(O) trim, the RxZ variant comes with features like - fog lamps, Satin Chrome treatment for the roof rails and door sill. The cabin features premium blue glazed fabric, chrome inside door handles, automatic air-con, new eco guide system, new front tweeters (2 nos), front driver seat armrest, height adjustable driver seat with lumbar support, height adjustable front seat belts, illuminated glove box, electrically foldable outside rear view mirrors, driver side auto up-down anti-pinch power window, cruise control, and speed limiter. Electronic stability program (ESP) and hill-start assist are available only with the AMT model, while additional features include - reverse parking camera with guidelines and rear wiper and washer.
