The Honda Amaze is one of the popular subcompact sedans currently on sale in India. The second-generation Amaze was introduced in the Indian car market in 2018, and the car is now due for a mid-life cycle update. Honda Cars India is ready to launch the Amaze facelift in India tomorrow. The Japanese automaker commenced pre-bookings of the facelifted model from July 25, 2021, for an amount of Rs. 21,000 at dealerships. Interested customers can also pre-book the car via Honda's online sales platform for Rs. 5,000. Here's everything that you can expect from the 2021 Honda Amaze facelift.

The 2021 Honda Amaze facelift will get a new front grille and LED projector headlamps
As per leaked brochure details, the new Amaze will be offered in four trims - E, S, V and VX. The updated subcompact sedan will be offered with cosmetic changes inside out while the technical specifications will remain untouched. The company has already commenced mass production of the car at its manufacturing facility in Tapukara, Rajasthan.
The Honda Amaze facelift will receive several cosmetic updates, including a new grille, LED projector headlamps with integrated signature LED DRLs, LED front fog lamps with sleek chrome garnish, restyled bumpers, 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, chrome outer door handle, C-shaped LED taillights and more. The overall dimensions of the car will remain unchanged.

The Honda Amaze facelift will also get new LED taillamps
The cabin of the 2021 Honda Amaze facelift will largely remain similar to its predecessor. However, we can expect a new fabric upholstery, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, voice command activation, rear parking camera with multi-view and guidelines, push-button start, automatic AC, and more.

Under the hood, the Honda Amaze facelift will be available in both petrol and diesel options with the same set of powertrains. The petrol mill will be a 1.2-litre i-VTEC motor tuned to make 89 bhp and 110 Nm of peak torque. The oil burner will be a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel capable of churning out 99 bhp and 200 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard along with an optional CVT automatic. Do note, the diesel CVT version makes only 79 bhp and 160 Nm.
