Bajaj Auto has announced a massive price drop of Rs. 16,800 on the Dominar 250. The 2021 Bajaj Dominar 250 is now priced at Rs. 1.54 lakh (ex-showroom), which now makes it a competitively priced proposition in the segment than before. It's interesting to note the price drop comes even sister brands KTM and Husqvarna have hiked prices across their respective 250 cc offerings. The Dominar 250 is also substantially cheaper than the Suzuki Gixxer 250. More recently, Yamaha too dropped prices on the FZ25 quarter-litre motorcycle and the model is currently the most price-conscious 250 cc offering on sale.

Despite the price drop, there are no changes to the feature list or performance of the Bajaj Dominar 250. The model continues to use the 249 cc DOHC, liquid-cooled engine that develops 26.6 bhp and 23.5 Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle is equipped with USD front forks from the Dominar 400 while a monoshock serves purpose at the rear. The bike also comes with a twin-barrel exhaust, bungee straps tucked under the seat to secure gear, an LED headlamp and taillight, and a redesigned secondary display to show time and trip information. The Dominar 250 is available in two colours - Canyon Red and Charcoal Black.
