As part of its new initiative, Hyundai Motor India has placed 17 new emergency road service vehicles along with 30 flatbed trucks to assist with towing operations in the city. These vehicles have been spread across the city and will offer services in Chennai and other regions affected by flood. Additionally the carmaker has activated a toll free number (0124-4714072) for customers who want to get their vehicles towed.
Hyundai has made sure that these new services are made available to as many customers as possible in every part of the city. Moreover to offer faster and effective services the carmaker has appointed as many as 300 technicians, who are working multiple shifts across the city to assist the vehicle owners.

Sharing the details of Hyundai Motor India's relief efforts for vehicle owners in Chennai, Mr Y K Koo, MD & CEO Hyundai Motor India said, "Hyundai as a responsible corporate citizen has ramped up its service support to customers in Chennai will a slew of initiatives. Apart from the aforementioned services, Hyundai Motor India is also offering its customers some special discounts on repairs and restorations. Hyundai customers can now get their vehicles, which were affected by flood, fixed by parts 30 % and 50% on depreciation on insurance claims. Furthermore, to ensure that there is no shortage of spare parts, Hyundai's spare part supplier MOBIS is prioritizing order of all spare parts for Chennai workshops.
