By Air: If you plan to go to Chennai by air, then once you are at the Chennai airport, take a cab from there to Tirupati. On the other hand, if you are from Chennai, you can simply take a bus to Tirupati.
By Rail: Tirupati is well connected with Chennai via railway. You can catch a train from Chennai station directly towards Tirupati. This train journey will take only 2hr 30 mints to reach your destination.
By road: you can easily reach Tirupati if you have decided to go there by road. You can either take a cab or a bus from Chennai or even better if you have a bike or private car you just hit the road.
