Classic Legends, part of the Mahindra Group, and parent company of Jawa Motorcycles, has resurrected the Yezdi brand, introducing three new models under the Yezdi name. The Yezdi Adventure, Scrambler and Roadster will be sold alongside the Jawa Motorcycles from the same dealerships. Prices for the Yezdi range start at Rs. 1.98 lakh starting with the Yezdi Roadster, going up to Rs. 2.19 lakh for the range-topping variant of the Yezdi Adventure. All three bikes are built on a dual cradle chassis and the 334 cc engine but they've been tweaked individually on each motorcycle to suit the purpose-built character of each model. The Yezdi brand has been positioned as a more youthful alternative to Jawa motorcycles and also packs more power, more features and striking designs.

The Adventure has the longest wheelbase, gets the most suspension travel and highest ground clearance.

The Yezdi Adventure is positioned as an entry-level adventure motorcycle and gets a tall stance with a round headlamp, simple panels, and stepped seat. The Adventure gets a short windshield, tall and wide handlebars, and additional frame brackets on the fuel tank and tail section to carry luggage or extra fuel cans. Furthermore, the bike comes with long travel telescopic forks upfront with 200 mm of travel and a pre-load adjustable monoshock at the rear with 180 mm of travel. The bike gets a single-sided exhaust while the ground clearance stands at 220 mm. It's the only Yezdi model with a monoshock rear suspension and single-sided exhaust.
The Yezdi Adventure is the only model which features a tilt-adjustable LCD instrument console, and also features Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation through a dedicated mobile app.
The Yezdi Adventure also comes with a tilt-adjustable digital instrument console that incorporates a tripmeter, distance to empty indicator, range, time, ABS mode and gear indicator. The unit also comes with Bluetooth connectivity and offers turn-by-turn navigation via the Yezdi app. The app also brings features like call and message alerts, vehicle analytics and owner profile.

The Yezdi Adventure rides on a 21-inch front wheel, and 17-inch rear wheel combination of wire spoked wheels with long travel suspension and 220 mm ground clearance.

The Adventure rides on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear combination of wire spoked wheels with dual-purpose tyres, while the fuel tank capacity stands at 15.5 litres. Power on the bike comes from 334 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine tuned for 29.8 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 29.9 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine on the adventure has been tuned for more power higher in the revs, while peak torque is also higher but comes in lower in the rev range for better tractability. The bike comes with three ABS modes - Road, Off-Road and Rain.
The Yezdi Scrambler has a stripped-down, minimalistic design with a chopped off tail section.
Up next, the Yezdi Scrambler promises a fun offering and will be one of the accessible scramblers on sale in the country. The bike retains the classic look with the round headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank and chrome-finished dual exhaust but gets a minimalist and stripped-down look. The Scrambler comes with knee pads, a ribbed seat and a chopped tail section and a different rear subframe. It rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear combination of wire spoked wheels and uses a 12.5-litre fuel tank. The telescopic front forks come with 150 mm of travel, while the gas-charged dual shocks get 130 mm of travel.
The Scrambler is the lightest, and has the shortest wheelbase, gets more suspension travel and ground clearance than the Roadster, but less than the Adventure.

On the Scrambler, the 334 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine has been tuned to make 28.7 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 28.2 Nm of peak torque at 6,750 rpm. The Scrambler has a kerb weight of 182 kg and a ground clearance of 200 mm. The motorcycle gets an offset round LCD display along with LED headlamp and taillight, clear lens LED indicators as well as handlebar-mounted USB and Type C charging points, which is also offered on the Adventure. Prices for the Yezdi Scrambler start at Rs. 2.05 lakh, going up to 2.11 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
The Yezdi Roadster is the most affordable model in the Yezdi motorcycle range, and also the closest to the original Yezdi stance and silhouette in terms of design.

The Yezdi Roadster is the most affordable model in the Yezdi motorcycle range, and is also the closest in design to the original Yezdi motorcycles of the 1970s. Both the Scrambler and Roadster share the same single-pod instrument console. The Roadster is designed for everyday use, for the daily commute and short dashes, and the engine has been tuned to make 29.3 bhp at 7,300 rpm and 29 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The Roadster has a kerb weight of 184 kg, and also come with the most colour options, including blacked out "Dark" colour schemes. Prices range from Rs. 1.98 lakh (Ex-showroom) to Rs. 2.06 lakh (Ex-showroom). Bookings and deliveries are currently available at all Jawa-Yezdi dealerships across India.
