Ducati India has released a one-off, customised special edition of the Ducati Monster 797 to celebrate 25 successful years of the Monster. The special Ducati Monster 797 is the first officially commissioned Ducati to be customised by Rajputana Customs and gets some unique details. The special Monster 797 only gets cosmetic changes, and there are no mechanical upgrades to the bike. The Rajputana Customs influenced Monster 797 gets a custom-built fuel tank with a design that stays close to that of the iconic Monster and a special brushed aluminium type colour scheme.

"Monster is a bike that has become a cult and has been recognized worldwide with love since its inception for its muscular look with the true aesthetics of a naked bike. Rajputana Customs has done a fabulous job at embodying it with details that are meaningful, giving it a striking look. The Monster 797 in the Rajputana Custom Edizione Speciale looks every bit perfect and serves as the appropriate homage to this iconic motorcycle," said Sergi Canovas, Managing Director, Ducati India.
The special edition Monster 797 took several months of work by Rajputana Customs. The bike is a one-off build, but Ducati owners can get in touch with Rajputana Customs to explore customisation options for their motorcycle.

The Ducati Monster has been in production since 1993, when the first Monster, designed by Miguel Angel Galluzzi was introduced. Characterised by an exposed engine and steel trellis frame, the design of the Monster paved the way for naked street motorcycles as we know them today. Over the years, the Monster range has had many different models, from the entry-level 400 cc Monster, right up to the top-of-the-line superbike-engined versions. The Monster range is one of the most successful Ducati models globally, at one point, accounting for nearly two-third of overall Ducati sales. Currently, Ducati offers the Monster 797, the Monster 821 and the top-of-the-line Monster 1200 on sale in India.
