Honda has taken the wraps off the new ADV350 adventure scooter at the 2021 EICMA Motorcycle Show in Milan, Italy. The all-new Honda ADV350 mixes the sensibility of the Honda Forza 350 with the ruggedness of the larger X-ADV scooter in the company's line-up. The ADV350 will be sold in Europe first and Honda says the new offering is targeted at young riders. Unlike the X-ADV though that promises more fun off-road, the 2022 Honda ADV350 is more about adding a rugged appeal and utility on city streets.

The 2022 Honda ADV350 is powered by the 350 cc single-cylinder engine tuned for 29 bhp and 31.5 Nm of peak torque
The new Honda ADV350 scooter gets a rugged chassis with a tubular steel frame, 37 mm USD from forks and remote reservoir rear twin shocks. The scooter rides on six-spoke cast aluminium wheels with block-pattern tubeless tyres. The model gets a 15-inch wheel at the front and a 14-inch unit at the rear. Braking performance comes from a 256 mm single disc at the front and a 240 mm rear disc. Dual-channel ABS is offered as standard. The ADV scooter also comes with Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) with self-cancelling rear indicators during a hard-stop situation.

Power on the Honda ADV350 comes from the 330 cc SOHC, four-valve, single-cylinder, Euro5-compliant engine tuned to produce 29 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 31.5 Nm of peak torque at 5,250 rpm. The motor comes with fuel injection and the company's enhanced Smart Power+ (eSP+), while power goes to the rear wheel via the CVT unit. The scooter's fuel tank capacity stands at 11.7 litres, while Honda claims a fuel efficiency figure of 29.4 kmpl.

The ADV350 is loaded on the feature front with an LCD console, Honda Smartphone Voice Control system, HSTC, ABS and more
On the feature front, the Honda ADV350 gets 40 litres of under-seat storage capacity that can accommodate two helmets, a USB charger, a height-adjustable windscreen, and an LCD instrument console. The model also comes with the Honda Smartphone Voice Control system and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) as part of the standard equipment. On the styling front, the ADV350 looks every bit futuristic as modern Hondas do with the sharp yet elegant lines, all-LED lighting, and lots of bodywork to go with the maxi-scooter. The model also gets an upswept exhaust to go with the adventure theme.

The model measures 2,200 mm in length, 895 mm in width and 1,430 mm in height, while the wheelbase stands at 1,520 mm. The kerb weight stands at 186 kg. The Honda ADV350 rugged scooter will be offered in silver, grey and red shades. For now, the 2022 Honda ADV350 remains specific to developed markets and we will have to wait and watch if Honda India decides to bring the model here to be sold via its BigWing outlets.
