With FAME-II subsidy for electric two-wheelers now capped at 15 per cent of a vehicle’s ex-factory cost, India’s best-selling electric scooter has witnessed a 30 per cent increase in price.

With a reduction in FAME-II subsidies for electric two-wheelers, the price of the Matter Aera 5000 will start at Rs 1.74 lakh from June 6 onwards.
