Eurosport India, the sports channel from broadcast network Discovery, has appointed actor John Abraham as the brand ambassador for MotoGP in the country. The actor is a motorcycle and MotoGP enthusiast, and the association does seem like a natural extension for him. With Abraham's appointment, Discovery also kicks off the "MotoGP, Race Lagate Hai" brand campaign to promote the sport's viewership in India. Eurosport holds the broadcasting rights for MotoGP in the country. In addition to the actor, the Yamaha YZF-R15 has come on board as a co-sponsor for the broadcast.

The Eurosport India MotoGP campaign with John Abraham will be spread across radio, outdoor advertising and digital
This is the first collaboration for MotoGP of its kind. Speaking about same, John Abraham said, “It's a moment of pride for any fan to become the India Ambassador, and it's indeed a moment of reckoning for me. I am glad that through this association not only will I be able to showcase my love for MotoGP to all motorsports fans but also help many others understand the fine nuances of a highly technical and skill-oriented sport. Apart from catching the motorsport events on the Eurosport channel, viewers can also stream the race on its OTT video streaming platform, Discovery+.
