The new generation Hyundai Santro, codenamed AH2 is all set to be unveiled tomorrow, October 9, 2018, and will be bringing back the iconic small car in a completely new avatar. We've seen a glimpse of the hatchback in the recently leaked images, and CarAndBike can now confirm that bookings for the new Santro will start exclusively online on October 10 2018. Hyundai dealers in Mumbai and Delhi have confirmed the development to CarAndBike with the model being available to book on the company's website. Users will have to select the booking option and can pay the minimum token amount of Rs.10,000 and select their preferred dealer choice when booking the model. Deliveries for the model will commence by the end of this month after the launch on October 23.

The all-new Hyundai Santro is one of hotly anticipated offerings of the season and coincides with the brand's 20th anniversary in India. The company has been running a massive campaign leading up to the launch with the small car set to take on the likes of the Maruti Suzuki WagonR, Renault Kwid, Datsun GO and the likes.

Leaked images of the new generation Hyundai Santro have revealed a tallboy stance with a futuristic design language. The car sports a massive 'fluidic' grille up front with swept back headlamps while the rear sports a rather upright windscreen and a stubby taillights. The other interesting set of features include beige and black interiors, a touchscreen infotainment system that is likely to support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear AC vents, and a 5-speed AMT unit, a very first for Hyundai. The new Hyundai Santro is likely to draw power from the 1.1-litre Epsilon engine that will also come with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
