Austrian water company BWT will be the title sponsor of the two F1 rounds in Austria which follow the race in France. BWT has been involved with F1 since it became the lead sponsor for the Force India F1 team till last year when it was also the title sponsor when it rebranded to Racing Point after the takeover by Lawrence Stroll. With Aston Martin rebranding of the team, BWT downgraded from title partner to a much smaller partner for the team as Cognizant became the lead sponsor allowing it to use its iconic British green colours.
BWT is notorious for needing all its partners to run its iconic "pink" colours which weren't tenable with the Aston Martin rebranding. Though BWT managed to crack a separate partnership with Sebastian Vettel who joined the team as his helmet uses the "pink" colour scheme alongside the addition of pink accents to the Aston Martin livery.

"We are excited to announce that BWT will be our title sponsor for the Austrian double-header, increasing their already strong presence within the sport," Ben Pincus, the sport's Director of Commercial Partnerships, said.
"The circuit will be alive with fans against a backdrop of BWT's pink and will be a bright and vibrant return for F1 in Austria. Both F1 and BWT's sustainability agendas are fully aligned on eliminating single-use plastics and we are pleased to be joining forces to use our expertise to tackle the issues important to the communities we visit while promoting the excitement on the track," he added.
Throughout the two races, there will be signs located across the Red Bull ring which will feature the BWT name and colours with the goal of spreading sustainability messages and reduce the use of plastic water bottles.
