Then there's the ion-sensing system to control ignition timing and adaptively predict misfires which is why it can pounce from 0 to 100km/h in just 3 seconds. The engine was also the top pick in the Performance Engine, New Engine and 3.0-litre to- 4.0-litre engine categories.
Clearly, the car maker was happy and it said, ""Ferrari's return to twin-turbo technology for the V8 range has set a new benchmark for turbo-charged engines. Zero turbo lag and a progressive delivery of torque throughout the rev range maintain unprecedented levels of driver involvement."
