The ongoing Geneva Motor Show saw a number of cars being launched for the global market and we've really had some stunning cars make their way at the show. Of course, throughout this time we've been bringing you all the updates about the cars and even shared with you our list of top 10 cars at the show. Most car manufacturers have gotten down to showcasing cars for global markets and India is becoming a key market for these global players. While, not all cars that were showcased will come to India, there are quite a few that will make their way here and we have a list of all the cars that are likely to make their way to India. We have to say here though, that the timelines for the launch will differ but these cars will become part of the company's portfolio for India.
Jaguar I-Pace
Jaguar has had a great outing with its SUV in India, the F-Pace and it plans to bring the E-Pace to India as well. But the company's first ever production electric car is also an SUV and yes, Jaguar has plans to bring the car to India. We'll probably see it here once there's more infrastructure in pace for electric cars but the I Pace makes a statement for itself. The company has taken 4 years to build the car from the concept stage to the production version.

The I-Pace comes with two synchronous permanent magnet electric motors at the front and the rear axle which have a combined power output of 395 bhp and makes maximum of 696 Nm of torque. It also features an AWD system. A 0-100 kmph sprint takes 4.5 seconds and the performance SUV will have a range of over 480 km. The 90kWh lithium-ion battery pack takes 45 minutes to charge from 0-80 per cent using a 100kW rapid charger, or 10 hours using a 7kW AC wallbox.
Ferrari 488 Pista
The new special series supercar follows a long line of cars from the Ferrari 348 Serie Speciale, Ferrari 355 Serie Fiorano, the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, the Ferrari 430 Scuderia and the Ferrari 458 Speciale. The new Ferrari 488 Pista will see limited production just like the special editions of past models. The new Ferrari 488 Pista puts out very impressive figures in terms of its technical specifications. The mid-mounted V8 is the most powerful ever V8 ever fitted to any road going Ferrari ever. The 3.9-litre, twin-turbocharged, flat plane V8 now makes a staggering 711 bhp of peak power and 770 Nm of peak torque.

The 488 Pista gets a top speed of 340 kmph and a 0-100 kmph time of only 2.8-seconds. The 0-200 kmph sprint is taken care of in just 7.6-seconds! The Pista is also considerably lighter as compared to the standard car by 90 kilos due to a diet that involves a range of lighter carbon fibre and titanium parts.
Range Rover SV Coupe
Land Rover has unveiled the limited-edition two-door Range Rover SV coupe at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. It's the world's first full-size luxury SUV coupe and created by Land Rover Design and Special Vehicle Operations. Only 999 will be hand-crafted by SVO for clients worldwide. Each SV Coupe will be hand-assembled, taking into account the client's needs, by the experts at the SVO Technical Centre in the UK - a first for Range Rover.

The SV Coupe is also the fastest-ever full-size Range Rover, with a 265 kmph top speed. It's powered by a 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 petrol powertrain which punches out 557 bhp making it the most powerful full-size Range Rover, and it can hit a 0-100 kmph in just 5 seconds.
2019 Audi A6
Audi revealed the 8th generation A6 luxury sedan in full metal and we love it. The 2019 Audi A6 adds numerous innovations to the segment, with an all-digital MMI touch response system, smoother suspension with enhanced sportiness; all this makes the new generation Audi A6 more luxurious than its predecessor. The Level 3 autonomous feature is just an added bonus.

In terms of design and styling, the 2019 Audi A6 resembles the new A8 and the A7 Sportback, with its taut surfaces, sharp edges and striking lines. The long hood, long wheelbase and short overhangs balances out the sporty proportions of the luxury sedan; while the wide, low-slung single frame grille, the flat headlights and contoured air inlets only compliments it. It'll come with a host of petrol and diesel engines and is likely to come to India next year.
Lexus UX
Lexus has been on top of their game in India and has been on a launching spree and giving grief to the well-established German car makers here. The UX SUV which sits below the NX was showcased at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show and we are sure that Lexus would not hesitate in bringing the car to India. The production-ready Lexus UX 250h competes in a segment along the likes of the BMW X2, Audi Q2, Volvo XC40 and the likes. The UX though is based on a completely new platform and also sports all-new engines from the Toyota family.

The all-new Lexus UX is based on Toyota's new GA-C global architecture that ensures lowest centre of gravity aimed at better handling, while it also gets segment leading turning circle of 34 feet. Also debuting on the UX are two new engines from Toyota including a 2.0-litre petrol that makes 168 bhp. The in-line four-cylinder motor is said to use "high-speed combustion to achieve enhanced thermal efficiency," and comes paired to the brand's first 'Direct Shift-CVT'.
Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder
Lamborghini has been as eager as ever to bring its cars to India and the fact that the Urus SUV arrived just 38 days after its global launch is testimony of that. We think that the company, hence, will lose no time in bringing the latest Huracan Performate Spyder to the country. The Huracan Performante Spyder gets an open-top design clearly differentiates the Spyder from its coupe counterpart, with roof both open and closed. The Performante borrows design cues from the Super Trofeo race cars and performance motorcycles with their naked, open-frame streetfighter characters remind that the Huracan Performante Spyder is a super sports car as capable on the track as the road.

It gets a 5.2-litre V10 naturally-aspirated engine which punches out 630 bhp and there's 600Nm of torque on offer. The permanent four-wheel drive Spyder accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 3.1 seconds while 0-200 kmph in 9.3 seconds. The top speed of the Huracan Performante Spyder is 325 kmph and matches its coupé stablemate.
Tata EVision Concept Sedan
The new sedan concept is an all-electric concept that is based on the Omega platform, one of the two new platforms that Tata Motors will use going forward. Incidentally, the Tata Motors H5X SUV concept, which was unveiled at the Indian Auto Expo last month is also based on the same Omega platform. Tata Motors also debuted the H5X SUV in Geneva alongside the sedan concept along with the new 45X concept premium hatchback.

The new EVision Sedan concept features the new Impact Design 2.0 which is quite upright, muscular and very aggressive. In terms of general size and dimensions, the EVision concept is a midsize sedan - about the same size as a Jaguar XE or Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The new all-electric sedan concept marks the continued direction towards e-mobility that Tata Motors has been stressing on in the recent past.
Hyundai Santa Fe
Hyundai showcased the new generation of the Santa Fe SUV at the Geneva Motor Show and this one we can quite confidently say that will make its way to India. In its 4th generation, the Santa Fe will be available in the standard two-row five-seater option and a long-wheelbase three-row seven-seater option as well. While the new-gen Hyundai Santa Fe has been introduced with both petrol and diesel engine option, the carmaker has now announced its plan to launch the New-Generation Santa Fe in a hybrid and plug-in hybrid version as well.

Powering the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe gets the choice of three, four-cylinder engine options - 2.4-litre GDI and 2-litre turbocharged petrol engines along with the new 2.2-litre CRDi turbocharged diesel engine. The former petrol engines offer an estimated power output of 185 bhp and 232 bhp respectively, while the new diesel motor is capable of curing out about 200 bhp. All three engines will come mated to an 8-speed automatic torque converter as standard.Visually, the new Santa Fe has gone through a major evolution with the new design and styling. Up front, you have Hyundai's signature cascading grille with composite lightings like the Kona comprising LED daytime running lights positioned on top of the twin LED headlights as individual units. The new Santa Fe has also grown in size with an overall length of about 4750 mm, a width of 1879, and an increased wheelbase of 2766 mm.
Skoda Vision X Concept
Skoda has finally pulled the wraps off the much anticipated Vision X concept and yes, this one looks stunning. The company has already launched the Kodiaq in India and has plans to launch the Karoq too, so there's no second guessing about this one. The Skoda Vision X previews the Czech carmaker's next addition to its SUV line-up, and the production model of the concept SUV is likely to be positioned below the Karoq.

Skoda says the with its compact exterior and smart interior dimensions, along with advanced infotainment features, the new Vision X is designed to address the modern lifestyle of active target groups. Thus, the new Vision X will offer driving pleasure both in urban traffic and when venturing off-road. In terms of dimensions, the Vision X is 4,255 mm long, 1,807 mm wide and 1,537 mm high along with a wheelbase of 2,645 mm and the boot has a capacity of 380 litres.
