Had he lived, he would have clearly been the greatest racing driver the world had ever seen. Indeed, we are talking about the brash Brazilian, Aryton Senna. Today is his 54th birthday we all remember this great racer who said, "I came to Europe for the first time to compete outside Brazil in the World Championship. It was pure driving. Pure racing. There wasn't any politics. No money involved either, so it was real racing."
Google too could not stay away from saluting this brilliant driver and the doodle clearly shows an illustration of Senna with a Formula One car decked out in the green and yellow colors of his home country, Brazil.
The three-time World champion died at the age of 34, at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix in Imola, Italy when his car slammed into a wall. His tragic death is still mourned by many who have met him, seen him drive or felt his passion for racing.
F1 still misses the racer and on his birthday we too wish him a very happy birthday!
