Hero MotoCorp is looking to spruce up its 125 cc models in India. Recently, it launched an updated model of the Glamour, called the Glamour Xtec, which gets a bunch of new features including Bluetooth connectivity. Now, the company has followed it up by introducing the updated Hero Maestro Edge 125, which gets Bluetooth connectivity and new aesthetics in form of two new colours, Prismatic Yellow and Prismatic Purple. The 125 cc scooter now gets LED projector headlight, fully digital instrument console, turn-by-turn navigation and call alerts as well. The Maestro Edge 125 is priced at Rs. 72,250 for the drum variant, Rs. 76,500 for the disc variant and Rs. 79,750 for the connected variant. All prices are ex-Showroom, Delhi.

Hero says that the new sleek projector LED headlight offers double light intensity with wider & farther spread for better visibility on the road. In terms of design, the Maestro Edge 125 now gets sporty dual-tone stripes and masked winkers. The new digital speedometer shows up a bunch of information like missed-call alert, turn-by-turn navigation, real-time mileage indicator low fuel indicator and so on. The 'Hero Connect' tech is offered as standard and it gets features like Topple Alert, Theft Alert, find my parking, track my vehicle, trip analysis and more.
The Maestro Edge 125 continues to get the 124.6cc BS6 compliant programmed fuel injection motor with 'XSens Technology'. The engine makes 9 bhp at 7,000 rpm and peak torque output is 10.4 Nm at 5,500 rpm. It goes up against the TVS NTorq 125, Suzuki Access 125, Honda Grazia 125 and the Aprilia SXR 125.
