The festive season is a big opportunity for automakers to cash in on the demand, in-turn pushing their sales and it's the time when car buyers look forward to attractive discounts as well. Honda Cars India has already announced discounts across its model range ahead of the festive period. The current fifth-generation Honda City gets the highest discount of up to ₹ 53,500 while Honda is offering discounts of up to ₹ 22,000 on the fourth-generation Honda City. The recently launched Honda Amaze facelift gets discounts of up to ₹ 18,000 while the Japanese carmaker is offering discounts of up to ₹ 40,100 on the Honda WR-V facelift. The Honda Jazz is being offered with discounts of up to ₹ 45,900.

Honda is offering discounts of up to ₹ 40,100 on the Honda WR-V facelift
As already said, the festive offers are expected to increase volumes for the Japanese carmaker but the company is still facing supply constraints given the semiconductor shortage. Honda Cars India has recorded a sales decline of 33.66 per cent in the domestic market selling 6,765 units in September 2021 as compared to 10,199 units sold a year ago.
