Hyundai Motor India is gearing up to introduce its second N Line model in the country this year, the automaker has recently confirmed. The new N Line model is expected to arrive around August this year and it will join the i20 N Line that went on sale in India in 2021. The N Line range is essentially the performance-oriented version based on existing cars and brings cosmetic upgrades and subtle mechanical tweaks aimed to help the model drive better. With the i20 N Line receiving a positive response, the company is looking to bring more models in the future and this year, it is likely to be the Venue N Line that will hit the showroom floors soon.

The Venue N Line will be based on the top-spec turbo petrol variant of the subcompact SUV
carandbike understands that the Hyundai Venue N Line will be the next model under the performance moniker. The Venue facelift was recently launched and gets a host of upgrades too that are both cosmetic and on the feature front. Bringing an N Line version seems like a natural extension to that plan, while further capitalising on the popularity of SUVs. The Venue in its standard avatar drives well, and would further drive better with subtle tweaks.
While details are scarce, we do know that the Venue N Line variant will get the cosmetic changes brought upon by the facelift. Meanwhile, power will come from the 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine tuned for 118 bhp and 172 Nm of peak torque. The motor will be offered with a 7-speed DCT automatic and a 6-speed iMT unit. The N-Line variant is likely to be offered only with the turbo petrol option, which means the 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel won't be offered with the N Line badge.

Just like the Hyundai i20 N Line, the Venue N Line will get cosmetic tweaks and a stiffer suspension
Expect to see the blue and orange paint scheme with black highlights on the new Venue N Line. The cabin will get an all-black treatment as against the dual-tone upholstery on the facelift. The seats will also come with red contrast dual stitching and piping. Other sporty elements inside the cabin will include a new leather-wrapped steering wheel, N-inspired gear knob and aluminium foot pedals. The SUV is also expected to get a recalibrated steering geometry for better feedback and a stiffer suspension setup. More details will be available in the weeks to come.
