India Kawasaki has launched the Vulcan S cruiser motorcycle in a new colour, which is Pearl Lava Orange. Kawasaki has priced the Vulcan S in the new colour at Rs. 5, 58,400 (ex-showroom) Delhi, which is just Rs. 10,000 more than the standard Vulcan S. Kawasaki says that the new colour was introduced as the Vulcan S received a solid response from customers. Kawasaki has already started taking bookings for the Vulcan S Pearl Lava Orange. The two-tone paintjob on the Vulcan looks rather sporty and it surely adds life to the otherwise dull black colour, in which the bike was earlier launched.
On this occasion Mr. Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors, said "Vulcan S is that type of motorbike which defines a particular lifestyle. In such type of products colour of the motorcycle plays a vital role. The Vulcan S in pearl lava orange colour is available only in few countries. The Kawasaki Vulcan S Pearl Lava Orange remains the same as far as mechanicals are concerned. It gets a 649 cc parallel-twin engine which makes 60 bhp and around 63 Nm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
