The SVJ is the final swan song of the V12 powered Aventador model lineup and will be unveiled officially in the next couple of days. And as with almost all major reveals in recent times, an official image showcasing the car's epic aerodynamic styling has been leaked courtesy of the Lamborghini Unica App, which is exclusively for Lambo owners. And while the Aventador in its standard avatar - or even the S and SV - are quite bonkers to look at, with the SVJ, things have been taken to an all new level. In what is most certainly a proper hark back to the crazy wide body and massive winged Countach models of the late 80s, the new SVJ will no wonder be a poster car for an all new generation!
As expected, the car features absolutely bonkers aerodynamic styling at the front with a whole new bumper, end plates and those insane snouts to channel air too. The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ features the ALA or Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva, which essentially means 'active aerodynamics', the same system that has given it the Nurburgring lap record of a blistering 6:44.97 minutes. The car also features a massive adjustable rear wing - that looks straight out of Star Wars - which fits right in place on this totally crazy supercar.
Under the skin, the car will continue to get a 6.5-litre V12 engine that will make 760 bhp of peak power and 720 Nm of peak torque. That said, Lamborghini Aventador SVJ will continue to use the single clutch gearbox in order to keep the driving dynamics as pure as possible. The car will also continue to be all wheel drive and will also get rear wheel steering as standard. But all that is elementary since the SVJ does what all Lamborghinis MUST do - drop jaws with amazement!
