Maruti Vitara Brezza vs Ford EcoSport vs Mahindra TUV300: Comparison

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, the highly-anticipated sub-compact SUV, has been finally launched in India at a starting price of Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Vitara Brezza, inspired by the bigger Vitara SUV, gets a well-designed body and the trusted 1.3-litre diesel engine under its hood. The Maruti Vitara Brezza goes up against mighty segment stalwart, the Ford EcoSport, and the Mahindra TUV300 that was launched last September. Here's how the Brezza compares to its primary rivals.

Dimensions

In terms of dimensions, the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is 3995mm long, 1790mm wide and stands tall at 1640mm. In contrast, the Mahindra TUV300 spans the same length at 3995mm, but is both wider and taller than its Japanese rival measuring 1835mm in width and 1839mm in height. The Ford EcoSport is the longest among the three, albeit by 4mm. However in terms of both width (1765mm) and height (1708mm), it falls short of the TUV300's dimensions.

It's important to note that the Brezza is just 20mm shy of the EcoSport in terms of wheelbase. In terms of ground clearance, the Ford EcoSport stands 200mm of the ground whereas the Vitara Brezza and TUV300 come in at 198mm and 190mm respectively.
