After months of delays, Maserati will finally reveal its new Maserati Grecale crossover SUV to the world on March 22, 2022, that is if everything goes according to the Turin-based carmaker's plan. And to announce this, the company revealed a few camouflaged images of the Maserati Grecale, taking to the streets ahead of its scheduled global debut. However, these camouflaged images reveal a tad more than what we've seen from the spy shots or even the red camouflaged version we saw a few weeks back.
When viewed in profile, the Grecale does resemble the elder Levante sibling from the shape of the rear quarter panel or even the C-pillar.

In the latest images, we can see the Maserati Grecale nearly unconcealed thanks to the light camouflage. The upright headlights (inspired by the MC20 supercar), vertical slats on the grille, and the large trident logo are all signatures of the brand. When viewed in profile, the Grecale does resemble the elder Levante sibling from the shape of the rear quarter panel or even the C-pillar. What also hints at a Grecale Trofeo performance version is the quad-tip exhaust and large front brake rotors. From the rear, the Grecale looks like a contracted Levante with the sloping windscreen and rakish rear end, disclosing its coupe-SUV credentials.

Under the hood, the Maserati Grecale will come in a range of powertrain options, including a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit with hybrid tech, as well as a high-performance 2.9-litre V6, twin-turbo unit for the Grecale Trofeo, which will make its debut either on the same day or at a later stage. However, there will be no diesel engine on offer with the Grecale at the time of the launch.
