Mercedes-Benz plans to have a host of new products and updated models lined up for launch in 2018 and the automaker has given a glimpse of what the line-up will look like. Mercedes' parent company Daimler has revealed a roadmap for its products for next year in its second quarter interim report. Amidst the line-up will be the new generation CLS and A-Class sedan (Based on Concept A), while the current generation C-Class will also be receiving its first upgrade. Here's a look at all the models that will be coming out of Stuttgart next year.

Starting with the ever-luxurious, the new generation Mercedes-Benz CLS is all set to make its debut towards the end of this year, possibly at the Los Angeles Motor Show in November. Based on the new generation E-Class, the new CLS retains its name on the new model and will be a complete overhaul with a more coupe inspired roofline and improved luxury features slated to make its way on the model. Reports also suggest that the range-topping CLS will be offered with a hybrid powertrain when it goes on sale next year. There won't be a CLS Shooting Brake version though, owing to the lack of demand in Europe.

Up next, the all-new Mercedes-Benz A-Class sedan will make its global debut and will be slated below the CLA in the automaker's stable. The company has been testing the model for a while now after showcasing the concept at the Shanghai Auto Show earlier this year. The A-Class sedan will be taking in the BMW 1 Series primarily, and will be the company's smallest sedan. There will be a long wheelbase version for China as well. The model's launch in India though is currently uncertain.

Mercedes will also introduce the comprehensively updated G-Class around the same time as the A-Class sedan. The SUV is set to get major changes that includes cosmetic tweaks and more details in the cabin. The model will also grow 100 mm wider over the current version. Reports also suggest that Mercedes will update the AMG tuned G63 and G65 with the Panamericana grille that is seen on the GT R.

Around mid-2018, Mercedes will be bringing the first updates to the current generation C-Class sedan. Expect changes to the front and rear bumper, an updated grille, new headlamps and taillights as well. Interior too will see updates inspired from the S-Class facelift perhaps.

The next launch will be the Mercedes-Benz GLC F-Cell variant that was showcased recently at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The plug-in hybrid SUV will be powered by a petrol engine paired to a hydrogen set-up and will be able to travel on electric power alone up to 50 km km on a single charge from a lithium-ion battery pack. The GLC will also have an extended wheelbase version added to the line-up for the Chinese market. Mercedes-Benz already sells a host of long wheelbase models of its existing products in China and the GLC will be a natural extension to the same.
Mercedes-Benz will also introduce the all-new Sprinter van, developed independent from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. The Mercedes Sprinter is said to get an electric version as well when it goes on sale.

Save the big one for the end, Mercedes will finally lift curtains off the new AMG GT four-door sedan. The model was showcased as a concept earlier this year. It will be joining the AMG GT range from the automaker and will sit above the CLS range as well. In fact, the CLS will drop the 63 badge on the AMG model to make way for the four-door GT. An official name for the performance model is yet to be announced.
