Compared to the model it replaces, the new C-Class Coupe is 95 mm longer and 40 mm wider and the wheelbase has been stretched by 80 mm. Yes, we will see an AMG version of the car but so far Mercedes-Benz is only mentioning the C300 version and its 4MATIC counterpart.
Under the hood, the C-Class Coupe will get a 2.0-litre turbocharged gasoline engine producing 241bhp and developing 370Nm of torque. The driver can select one of five driving modes using the Dynamic select switch: Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport + and Individual. Selecting 'Individual' allows the driver to customize the vehicle settings. The car will also be available with Mercedes' Airmatic air suspension as an option.
We call it the baby S for a reason and that is because all the technology trickles down from the flagship model. The C-Class Coupe comes with safety and assistance systems like adaptive cruise control which can be set up to 200km/h. Then there's brake assist, active lane keeping assist, active parking assist and a 360-degree camera.
There is also an extremely clever function and that is the air conditioning's ability to work with the sat-nav system to close the air recirculation flap automatically whenever entering a tunnel and then it opens it after exiting the tunnel.

The sportier C-Class features some equipment as standard which includes LED headlights, Pre-Safe, Keyless Start, Sport Suspension and a Panorama Sunroof. The Sport Appearance Package is available as an alternative for customers.
The rest of the details are likely to be released in the coming weeks and we might see the AMG version of the car at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
