Adding some track finesse to the powerful hatchback, the MINI John Cooper Works (JCW) Pro Edition has been launched in India priced at Rs. 43.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The car can be booked exclusively on Amazon India website. The limited edition model arrives in the country as a Completely Built-up Unit (CBU) like all MINI models, and combines the prowess of the 3-Door MINI Cooper S with the JCW Tuning kit. You get original JCW accessories on the limited edition model as well, spicing up the styling on the British hatchback.

The MINI JCW Pro Edition gets cosmetic upgrades borrowed from the John Cooper Works styling department. The limited edition model differentiates itself with a red roof and red ORVMs, while a matte black paint job is complemented by red pinstripes. The performance hatchback comes with LED headlights surrounded by black finished bezels, JCW aerodynamic package and John Cooper Works emblem at the rear. Adding the finishing touch are the carbon fibre finished dual pipe exhausts and controllable exhaust valve systems, while the car rides on 17-inch cosmos spoke black alloys with 205 profile tyres.
Inside, the MINI JCW Pro Edition has been accentuated with Alcantara finished John Cooper Works Sport Seats with integrated headrests with contrasting Red Dinamica. There is also the JCW steering wheel with perforated leather and red stitching and comes with paddle shifters. The unit automatically adjusts steering sensitivity to aid performance while driving. Other features include John Cooper Works door sills, gear selector lever, and an anthracite finished roof liner.

Under the hood, the MINI JCW Pro Edition uses a 2-litre four-cylinder twin turbo petrol engine that has power uprated to 208 bhp and 300 Nm of peak torque, about 19 bhp and 20 Nm more than the standard Cooper S. A 6-speed Steptronic sends power to the front wheels, while the car can go from 0-100 kmph in just 6.5 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the standard version.
With respect to features, the MINI JCW Pro Edition gets a Head-Up Display, 12-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, Launch Control and much more. The MINI comes with three driving modes which can be set up for comfort, sport or efficiency. There are a host of safety features as well including airbags, DSC, ABS, Cornering Brake Control, Run-Flat indicator and much more.
