Italian bike maker MV Agusta has launched the F3 800 RC in the country, priced at Rs. 19.73 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune). The highly desired 800cc offering is one of the best you can get your hands on and the RC version makes the motorcycle all the more enticing. That said, MV Agusta is manufacturing only 250 units of the F3 800 RC globally, of which just nine have ben allotted for India. However, five units of the AMG-branded F3 800 RC have already been sold in the country. Each of the MV Agusta F3 800 RC has been autographed by Jules Cluzel and Lorenzo Zanetti, the riders for MV Agusta's factory team in the Supersport World Championship. The bikes also get an ID plaque with the limited edition serial number. MV Agusta F3 800 RC Side Profile The limited edition F3 800 RC is a road-legal version of Team Reparto Corse's F3 800 ridden by the Supersport World Championship riders. The bike features a two-tone colour scheme with red and white decals that follow MV Agusta’s racing bikes livery. All the 250 bikes also get the ‘AMG’ badging, which owns 25 per cent stake in the company. Power on the MV Agusta F3 800 RC comes from a 798cc three-cylinder engine which makes 148bhp of power at 13,000rpm and 88Nm of torque at 10,600rpm. The engine comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox and is capable of hitting a top whack of 269 km/h. MV Agusta F3 800 RC Rear Profile The 800cc supersport gets underpinned by a steel tubular Trellis frame and a single-sided aluminium swingarm. Suspension duties are performed by Marzocchi USD front forks with adjustable rebound-compression and preload, while the rear gets a Sachs unit which offers rebound, compression damping and preload adjustment. Braking performance comes from the 320mm disc brakes with a Brembo four-piston brake calipers, while the rear gets a 220mm disc brake with a two-piston brake caliper. Power on the F3 800 RC gets loaded on electronics and comes with 9 Plus ABS system from Bosch, which comes with a race mode, 8 level traction control and RLM (Rear wheel Lift-up Mitigation).
