In terms of design, the new Audi TT RS sports large air inlets, a Singleframe grille with a new honeycomb lattice and quattro logo, a fixed rear wing sitting on two thin double struts, diffuser insert with four vertical fins, and elliptical tailpipes. Another standout feature is the optional Matrix OLED rear lights, thus becoming the first series-production Audi to receive the technology.

The latest Audi TT RS comes powered by the newly developed five-cylinder, 2.5-litre TFSI engine with dual injection and Audi Valvelift technology, leading to a 17 per cent increase in performance. The 394.5bhp (400PS) engine, paired to a 7-speed S tronic transmission, develops a peak torque of 480Nm and allows the car to complete the 0-100Km/h dash in 3.7 seconds (Coupe) and 3.9 seconds (Roadster). The Audi TT RS' electronically-limited top-speed is rated at 249.44Km/h, which can be further increased to 280Km/h with optional Dynamic Package Plus.

The car also gets the quattro all-wheel drive system and the Audi Drive Select adaptive dynamics system that offers Comfort, Auto, Dynamic and Individual modes.
While Audi is yet to make an announcement about the new TT RS' launch in India, we believe the sportscar could arrive here by early next year, if at all.
