Maruti Suzuki India is readying its second launch for 2022, as it announced the commencement of pre-bookings for the new-generation Maruti Suzuki Baleno at an initial token amount of Rs. 11,000. Although unconfirmed, the new Maruti Suzuki Baleno will be launched later this month, most likely in the last week of February, which will also be when we will get our hands on it. However, as of now, the company's best-seller Baleno will receive a full generation change, with tons of cosmetic tweaks as well as features enhancement, that will only augment its position in the premium hatchback segment.

The new Head-Up Display (HUD) is first-in-segment and adds a distinctive touch to the car.

The new Maruti Suzuki Baleno will be powered by the next-gen K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with idle start-stop functionality. However, the biggest addition comes in the form of a new Head-Up Display (HUD), which is a first-in-segment and adds a distinctive touch to the car. The rest of the updates are still under wrap, however, we know that the new Maruti Suzuki Baleno will feature a sharper-looking fascia with a revised grille, new headlight design, and an aggressive-looking bumper. At the back, expect the new Baleno to continue the shaper design along with new taillights and a revised rear bumper.

Inside, expect the new Maruti Suzuki Baleno to be heavily equipped with the latest tech and a much-improved cabin. Here, the new Baleno could get a larger touchscreen infotainment system, an updated instrument console, with a more upmarket fit and finish, and improved quality of the panels used. Maruti Suzuki will also keep the creature comforts in check, and so will receive automatic headlamps, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, auto climate control, apart from many other essentials.
