The 2017 Ford EcoSport is finally here and carandbike.com exclusively revealed the all-new model for the Indian market. A major upgrade from the outgoing version, the new EcoSport will arrive at dealerships sometime next month. This means that dealerships are looking to clear the existing stocks and are offering hefty discounts on the pre-facelift EcoSport. carandbike can now tell you that Ford dealerships across the country are offering discounts between Rs. 25,000-1 lakh on existing stocks, depending on the variant. The Ford EcoSport is priced between Rs. 7.31 lakh, going up to Rs. 10 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi) for the range-topping Titanium+ trim.

Offers on the current Ford EcoSport include a flat price cut, cash benefits, exchange bonus and much more. Dealerships are also offering attractive interest rates and finance options on the SUV. With the new model arriving soon, the discount is available on the existing stock only as dealers are looking . Launched in 2013, the Ford EcoSport is the automaker's most popular model in India and has received timely upgrades too. This year, the top variants received a larger infotainment display apart from other changes.

First unveiled internationally last year, it's taken almost a year for the 2017 Ford EcoSport to arrive in the country. The facelift gets comprehensive upgrades comprising the completely new front with the massive trapezoidal grille, revised headlamps with projector lens and LED DRLs and chunky new fog lamps Inside, the new EcoSport gets major upgrades including a new dashboard and a larger touchscreen infotainment system that supports Ford SYNC 3, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with Bluetooth connectivity.
Another major change on the new Ford EcoSport will be the all-new 1.5-litre naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine. The motor was unveiled earlier this month and makes 120 bhp and 150 Nm of peak torque. It will be offered in the manual and an all-new 6-speed automatic transmission. The 1.5-litre TDCi diesel will continue to be on offer, while the 1-litre EcoBoost has been discontinued.
