However, it has been in the Indian market for about four years now and Nissan has still not updated the model, which also affected its sales numbers. And we think, at this point, a pre-owned Nissan Kicks might offer better value than a new one. Pros:
The Nissan Kicks offers great driving dynamics. Both in terms of ride and handling, the compact SUV scores high, and if you are looking for an engaging SUV, you should consider the Nissan Kicks.
While right now the Kicks is only offered with petrol engines, before the BS6 transition it was also offered with a 1.5-litre diesel engine. It was one of the nicer motors in its segment, and if you are looking for a diesel Kicks, the used car market is the place to find one.
The Nissan Kicks also comes equipped with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and 360-degree camera view, first-in-segment remote engine start system in the automatic variants.
The interior of the Kicks feels solidly built. Gets padded leather on the dashboard too. But looks a little dated.
Both in terms of design and styling, the Nissan Kicks looks dated. Even though the global version has already received an update, the India-spec model still remains unchanged. So, if it's bold styling and premium creature comforts that you are looking for, then the Kicks might not attract you.
Smart features like a 360-degree view camera, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, hill-start assist, cornering foglamps and 4 airbags are all only offered with the top-end variant. If those features are important to you might not find many options.
While the brand-new Kicks is certainly a bit on the pricier side and used one is not that cheap either. You are not likely to find many options below the Rs. 8 lakh mark, while it can max go up to around Rs. 14.50 lakh.
