More than a month after launching the new 2021 Mahindra XUV700, the home-grown utility vehicle maker has now officially released the complete variant-wise pricing of the new midsize SUV. Back in August, the company has only mainly released prices of the lower- and mid-spec variants of the SUV, that too only the manual options. Now ever have the entire price list, which starts at Rs. 11.99 lakh, going up to Rs. 21.09 lakh (ex-showroom, India), and that's very aggressive, we have to say. Having said that, you can't really go to a Mahindra showroom today and drive out the XUV700. So, if you are impressed by the pricing and want to own one, here's what you need to do.

Mahindra will begin accepting bookings for the XUV700 on October 7, 2021, 10 am onwards
While prices for the new Mahindra XUV700 have been announced you still cannot book the SUV. While there are probably dealers who might be accepting unofficial pre-bookings for the new flagship SUV, officially Mahindra will begin accepting bookings for the XUV700 on October 7, 2021, 10 am onwards. The token amount has not been announced but customers will be able to book the SUV both online and at authorised Mahindra showrooms.

The SUV will be available for public preview at authorised Mahindra showrooms from October 1, 2021, while the customer test drive will take place in a phased manner, due to COVID-related restrictions imposed by the Government. So, Phase 1 of customer test drives will start on October 2, while Phase 2 will begin on October 7, 2021.

Phase 1 of customer test drives will start on October 2, while Phase 2 will begin on October 7, 2021
So, Mahindra has not revealed the details yet, however, the company has said that it will announce the starting date of deliveries by October 10, 2021. The company has also confirmed that deliveries for the petrol variants will begin first, followed by the diesel trims a bit later. We believe the deliveries should start by mid-October 2021.

As we have mentioned in our earlier reports the new Mahindra XUV700 will be offered in two main trim options MX and AX. So, the prices for the SUV start at Rs. 11.99 lakh for the MX series (MT, petrol, 5-Seater) and Rs. 13.99 lakh for the AX series (MT, petrol, 5-Seater) (all ex-showroom, India). Mahindra also offers and optional luxury pack with the AX7 Automatic (both petrol and diesel) for a premium of Rs. 1.8 lakh and an optional AWD version for the AX7 diesel automatic for an additional cost of 1.3 lakh. However, these prices will be applicable for the first 25000 bookings only. Detailed prices are mentioned in the table below.

Select variants of the AX series get the 7-seat layout as an optional extra for additional premium of Rs. 60.000
Now, we have also mentioned the SUV is also come in both 5- and 7-seater options. The entry-level MX series gets the 5-seater layout as standard. As for the AX Series, the AX3 variant too gets the 5-seat layout as standard, but people buying the diesel manual option will be able to upgrade to the 7-seat layout. As for the AX5 trim, here too the 5-seater layout as default, however, customers buying the petrol manual, diesel manual or diesel automatic can upgrade to the 7-seater layout. The top-end AX7 series, at the same time, gets the 7-seater layout as standard. The cost to upgrade to the 7-seat layout will be Rs. 60,000.
