Revolt Motors has introduced its flagship electric motorcycle, the Revolt RV 400 in an all-new colour. While Revolt Motors has not announced the name of the new colour yet, the RV 400 will now be available in a choice of three colours, Rebel Red, Cosmic Black and the new colour shade, which looks like a silvery white colour shade with black accents. Mechanically, there are no changes to the Revolt RV 400. Revolt Motors Founder and CEO Rahul Sharma announced the new colour on social media without giving it a name, and said that bookings for the Revolt RV 400 will re-open soon.

Just last month, Revolt introduced a new Swipe to Start feature for the RV 400 which will enable keyless start through the MyRevolt mobile application. With this new feature, the user can switch on, or switch off the AI-enabled Revolt electric motorcycle through their smartphone. To switch on the bike with the swipe to start feature, user will simply be required to open the app, and slide the power button from left to right. This feature allows user the freedom to use the bike keyless and can also perform all functions - lock, unlock, and locate their bike via the application.

The Revolt RV 400 is packed with new generation features, like cloud connectivity, synthesised sounds and a dedicated mobile app
The RV400 comes with a 3KW (Mid Drive) motor, powered by a 72V, 3.24KWh Lithium-Ion battery that can churn out a top speed of 85kmph. The bike can be operated through the MyRevolt App which offers connectivity features such as bike locator/geo-fencing, customised sounds that can be changed with just a tap on the screen, complete bike diagnostics, battery status, historical data on rides and kilometres done, and also the option of locating the nearest Revolt Switch Station to swap the electric bike's battery at, and be on-the-move in less than 60 seconds.

With a 108 kg kerb weight, the RV 400 is light and nimble, and handling is quite likeable around corners
The Revolt RV 400 got a price reduction of Rs. 28,000 as a result of the revised incentives announced under FAME II (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles) scheme. The RV400 electric motorcycle is now priced at Rs. 90,799 and comes with a choice of three riding modes - Eco, City and Sport. The Revolt RV400 boasts of a range of 156 km (ARAI-certified) on a single charge in Eco mode. The RV 400 is currently not available and the company intends to open bookings once again.
