You can do a lot on four wheels, but what about when you've got just half of them. Yes, things get a little tricky, don't they? But there are wizards on two wheels who take pride in doing things we won't imagine and Ryan Suchanek is one of them. There are stoppies and wheelies and he's just set a world record for the fastest wheelie on ice.
It wouldn't be a Guinness record if there was something additionally crazy to do with it. Ryan Suchanek shattered the previous record held by Swedish rider Robert Gull, clinching the record speed of 188 km/h on one wheel on a bed of ice.
Ryan isn't new to the world of world records and with a 2013 Kawasaki ZX-10R tucked in between his legs, armed with more power, better suspension and lesser weight than his previous ride, clinched it back from his rival.
Yes, the ice needs to be perfect and so does the temperature and the average speed is measured over a distance of 100 metres because the exit speed on this run was about 196 km/h which just makes you understand the speeds he might be doing at one point in time.
This might also be the right time to tell you that Suchanek lost part of his left leg in a traffic accident and yet was back on two wheels to get his name in the record books. Mighty inspiring I would say!
