Skoda has re-opened the order books for the Kodiaq petrol with deliveries for the latest batch to take place from January 2023. Skoda has also announced revised prices for its premium SUV with the base Style variant now priced at Rs. 37.49 lakh and the fully-loaded L&K now setting you back Rs. 39.99 lakh. The new prices make the Kodiaq 2.0 TSI up to Rs. 1.5 lakh more expensive than when it was launched in January this year. The booking amount is set at Rs. 50,000 with Skoda saying that bookings will be open only at its dealerships.

I still get requests for the vehicle, showing us that India has an extremely healthy demand for quality, luxurious, technologically advanced SUVs that are priced right.”
Equipment expected to remain unchanged from the car launched earlier this year
The Kodiaq was launched in January in limited numbers – 1,200 units – with all units sold out within 48 hours of bookings opening. Skoda has said that the Kodiaq will continue to be made available in batches with the company to accept bookings in phases for 2023.
“While the Slavia and Kushaq are enabling us to make 2022 the Biggest Year for Škoda in India, the outstanding response to Kodiaq shows that customers look at Škoda as the ultimate in value luxury,” Hollis said.
Skoda has not revealed any changes to the units being delivered from early next year so expect the same set of features from the current SUV to be carried forward. Standard kit will include leather upholstery, ambient lighting, 18-inch alloy wheels, adaptive LED headlamps, auto headlamp and wipers, auto-dimming mirrors, a panoramic sunroof, hands-free parking, electric adjust front seats, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 625W Canton sound system and 3 zone climate control.
The fully-loaded L&K adds in bits such as heated and ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, dynamic chassis control and virtual cockpit digital dials.
2.0-litre turbo-petrol good for 188 bhp and 320Nm.
Standard safety kit includes 9 airbags, ESC, anti-slip regulation, front and rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera among other systems.
Under the hood sits the familiar 188 bhp and 320 Nm 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox as standard. All-wheel drive is also standard.
The Skoda Kodiaq goes up against the likes of the MG Gloster, Isuzu MU-X, and Toyota Fortuner.
