The Supreme Court of India banned the sale of any Bharat Stage III or BS III vehicles across India, with effect from the 1st of April 2017 and we have already told you how the auto industry feels about the ban and the consequent discounts on unsold BS III two-wheelers.This is in accordance with the government deadline to adopt the new emissions cycle pan-India. The fact remains that the companies are doing whatever they can to sell the BS 3 versions of vehicles and in fact from what we have heard the deals are working as dealers expect 90 per cent of the stock to be sold.
