Suzuki has just unveiled its latest commuter concept car at the 30th Thailand International Motor Expo. This small concept car is being named as the Suzuki A-Wind Concept and from the looks of it, this car will surely make its way to India soon. Just a Concept, the A-Wind looks production-ready and it closely resembles the dimensions of the Wagon R as it stands at 1540mm high, but surprisingly it is only 3600mm long.
Suzuki says that the A-Wind is so named because it seeks to bring a fresh wind to the A-segment as a global compact car. The concept comes with a 996cc 3-cylinder engine that is also mated to a CVT transmission, but when and if the car comes to India we would most likely see the CVT option.
The front grille of the A-Wind is very distinct and different from the conventional grilles we have seen on other small cars from Suzuki. There is a significant improvement in the way the car looks now.
The interiors have a bright elegant beige that complements the exterior yellow colour of the concept car and exudes the air of quality you expect from a global compact car. We will surely see this car at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo and we expect Maruti Suzuki to launch it here thereafter.
