After launching the Suzuki Avenis Ride Connect Edition, and Suzuki Avenis Race Edition in India last year, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer introduced an entry-level Standard Edition of the Avenis scooter at Rs. 86,500 (ex-showroom, India), that will be sold alongside the Suzuki Access 125 and the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 in the company's 125 cc scooter line-up. The Avenis Standard Edition will continue to be offered in Grey/Green, Orange/Black, Black, and White/Grey colour options. Compared to the Avenis Ride Connect Edition, and Avenis Race Edition, the Avenis Standard Edition is cheaper by Rs. 1,500 and Rs. 1,800 respectively.

The introduction of the Standard Edition of Avenis is an effort from the company to provide Gen Z customers with more options to choose from.”
The Suzuki Avenis Standard Edition will continue to be offered in Grey/Green, Orange/Black, Black, and White/Grey colour options.
In terms of design, the Suzuki Avenis Standard Edition remains unchanged from the Suzuki Avenis Ride Connect Edition. It maintains the sporty look with a muscular front apron, trapezoidal headlamp flanked with air intakes, turn indicators accommodated in the handlebar cowl with a small fly screen. The rear sports twin LED taillights with motorcycle-inspired turn indicators. A key feature that is given a miss here is the Bluetooth connectivity via Suzuki Ride Connect.

Power continues to come from a 125 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected motor developing 8.6 bhp @ 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm of peak torque available @ 5,500 rpm. The motor is paired to a CVT unit. The scooter weighs 106 kg and uses telescopic forks at the front and a single shock at the rear.
