Just so you know, the S-Cross is based on the SX4 hatchback that was never launched in India. And in some European markets, the S-Cross replaced the hatchback model. MSI's first ever crossover will share its components and engines with other Maruti Suzuki products like Swift and Ertiga.
While the European model is available with 1.6-litre petrol and diesel motors, the Indian version will get a 1.4-litre petrol and 1.3-litre multijet diesel engines. The cabin of the car will be quite similar to the Maruti Suzuki Swift's.
Talking about the design, the vehicle will have typical crossover-like elements such as plastic cladding all over the body, high ground clearance, etc.
