1) As mentioned before, the 2017 Suzuki SX4 S-Cross is set to make its official public appearance later this year at the 2016 Paris Motor Show before its launch in 2017. The car will first go on sale in Europe.
2) The car has already entered production and is currently being manufactured at Suzuki's European facility. In fact the carmaker even showcased the new S-Cross at a private event in Hungary.
3) The new Suzuki SX4 S-Cross will receive some major cosmetic updates, both on the exterior and interior front that is set to give the car a more upmarket feel compared to the outgoing model.
4) Among the major cosmetic updates, the new Suzuki S-Cross facelift comes with a new chrome grille with vertical slats, new projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, new beefy front bumper with heavy plastic cladding and chrome accents around the round fog lamps. The car also gets larger roof rails and revised tail lamps that add to the crossover's new bolder and aggressive appearance.
5) The updated SX4 S-Cross is also set to come with some addition smart features like faux side skirts, new stylish ORVMs with integrated turn signals, and sporty alloy wheels along with an updated cabin that will get new and improved upholstery, new MID unit, and tweaked instrument cluster among others.
6) Under the hood the 2017 Suzuki SX4 S-Cross facelift will get the popular 1.4-litre turbocharged, BoosterJet engine that does duty in the new Vitara. In addition, it is said that Suzuki could also introduce the 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine on the S-Cross facelift. The India-spec model though will get the same 1.6-litre diesel motor and hopefully the new 1.0-litre turbo petrol as well.
7) The model is expected to be launched in India in the second half of 2017 with some minor changes compared to the global model, similar to the ones we saw in the outgoing Maruti Suzuki S-Cross. Sadly the car isn't getting any considerable response from India buyers, maybe a more premium-looking facelift might do the job.
