TM launches the Indigo and Indica emax

After introducing Nano, Tata Motors have introduced an emax CNG version of Indica and Indigo.

TM launches the Indigo and Indica emax
At HorizonNext in Pune, Tata Motors brought out the Nano, Indica and Indigo in the CNG avtaars and they did tell us that they will launch these cars in a phased manner in the course of this year. Having already launched the Nano CNG, Tata Motors today formally announced the launch of two new additions to its CNG portfolio - Tata Indigo emax and Tata Indica emax. These two variants have been introduced in 6 markets across India and will now be available in Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Tripura.
The new emax range is powered by fuel efficient state-of-the-art engine, with CNG and Petrol bi-fuel system options.
The Indigo emax comes powered with a Petrol-CNG engine which churns out upto 65bhp @ 5000rpm and returns an amazing fuel efficiency figure of 24.6km/kg & an additional range of upto 230 km in CNG over the 650 km in petrol (ARAI approved figures). The Tata Indigo emax price range starts at Rs. 4.99 Lakhs and goes upto Rs 5.27 Lakhs, (ex-showroom Delhi), for the Indigo GLS and Indigo GLX, respectively.

The Tata Indica emax also provides good fuel efficiency and the figures stand at 23.7km/ kg & an additional range of 230 km in CNG over 600 km in petrol (ARAI approved figures).
The Tata Indica emax price range starts at Rs.3.99 Lakhs and goes upto Rs 4.26 Lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi, for the Tata Indica GLS and Tata Indica GLX, respectively.
