The 2021 Citroen C5 Aircross is the first product to be launched by the French carmaker in the country, marking the brand's entry into the Indian car market. The SUV comes to India as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) unit and it is locally assembled at the Citroen India's plant in Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. The SUV is being retailed through the brand's La Maison chain of dealerships, which is currently present in 10 different cities across the country. Except for a few features, rest all offerings are standard on both Feel and Shine variants of the C5 Aircross
1. The 2021 Citroën C5 Aircross SUV is offered in only two variants - Feel and Shine, however, and except for a panoramic sunroof and LED headlights, almost all other features are standard across both trims. The SUV also gets a set of 18-inch 'SWIRL' two-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels as standard.

2. The SUV will be offered in four single-tone shades - Pearl White, Cumulus Grey, Tijuca Blue, and Perla Nera Black, along with a dual-tone black roof option for the former three, bringing the total to 7 colour options.

The cabin feels well appointed and classy. There is a bit of a European hangover though with the oddly placed start-stop button and bonnet release lever still on the passenger side
3. Inside, the SUV gets a well-laid-out cabin designed with the use of premium soft-touch material, treated in Metropolitan Grey interior trim. The dashboard features an 8-Inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a 6-speaker audio system. The Citroen C5 Aircross also gets 3 separate rear seats with individual 3-point seat belts for all three passengers.

4. The C5 Aircross is also high on safety, it is equipped with 6 airbags, ESP, Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist, Traction Control, and Blind Spot Information System (BLIS). The SUV also gets Grip Control with 5 modes, park assist, front and rear parking sensors, reverse camera, ISOFIX mounts, electric parking brake, unique coffee break alert, fog lights with static cornering function, auto door unlock and more.
India gets the C5 Aircross with only the diesel engine and while it may not be the most fun unit on offer, it does get the job done well
5. The Citroen C5 Aircross comes with a single powertrain option, which is the 2.0-litre diesel engine. It's tuned to develop 175 bhp of maximum power against the peak torque of 400 Nm. Transmission duties are handled by an 8-speed automatic transmission sending power to the front wheels.
