At the outset, the new Triumph Bonneville T120 gets a larger 1200cc 'high torque' 8-valve, parallel-twin engine that produces 79bhp and 105Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox. All that power can be tamed as well with Triumph providing multiple riding modes - Rain and Road; apart from the electronic aids including ABS, switchable traction control and liquid cooling. You also get Ride-by-Wire, fuel injection and a new engine management system on the new Bonnie, which allows for a liner power delivery.
More importantly though, the new Triumph Bonneville T120 retains most design elements from the original version of 1959. The distinctive classic lines make the model stand out, but there are plenty modern day bits too including a twin-pod instrument cluster with LCD display, LED DRL equipped headlamp, LED tail light and heated grips.

Triumph has introduced three motorcycles from the Bonneville family in India which includes the new entry-level Street Twin, T120 and the Thruxton R. The latter though will be launched later in the year and is by far the fastest road going Bonneville to come from the manufacturer. The T120 will be available in four classic colours including Cranberry Red, Jet Black and Pure White, with hand painted coach lines as well as Cinder Red.
Triumph India is also offering over 160 custom accessory options for the T120 inclusive of the Vance & Hines chrome peashooter style slip on silencers, beautiful stitched seats, chrome clutch, alternator and throttle body embellishers and an authentic 4-bar Triumph tank badge. There is also the 'Prestige inspiration kit' that riders can opt for and comes with Authentic chrome '4 bar' tank badge, ribbed and stitched black seat, compact LED indicators, chrome Vance & Hines peashooter slip on silencers, black 'Barrel style' handlebar grips; chrome clutch cover, alternator cover and throttle body embellishers.
